xperia p can't lock screen and home button not working

Hi All,

Last night my phone is keep restarting itself.  Thus, I run an Update Service to update the phone software, to the version 6.1.1.B.1.75.

Good news is the phone is back to normal, not keep restarting itself.  But here come's another problem:

- I cannot lock my screen, no matter is 'slide', 'pattern' or etc.

- the home button on touch bar is not working too, I press it, and it can't go back to home screen.

Somebody can help?  Is it the software version's problem or some setting missed out?

Thanks for the reply.

No..I didn't use the protective case..

Still not sure what's going on.. 

The Home Button, will vibrate once i touch it as usual, just it won't return to Home Screen. 

The screen won't lock itself, if the screen timed out or i press the power button to dim the screen.

Plan to run another software update.

First back up your phone

Install Sony Companion> Support phone>Phone sofware update> Repair phone
