Xperia P as hotspot?

I love Sony , and its the best for me , lets go to the problem , i am using a Internet Connection in my house Router so we all can use , the problem is thats so slow , so i want to take Data Connection if i took that , Can i shared with my other WiFi devices ? while i m using my phone and other devices also like (Laptop,Wii,PSP) using the same WiFI ? or it will disable my mobile internet and share it via Hotspot ? ,,  , ,, and if i use Hotspot for a long time will harm my phone ? Thank

you can tether your data plan but if your phone its network branded then sometimes this is disabled by the carrier/network
