Xperia P 6.2.A.1.100 network loss

Hi,

I have xperia p, it works fine but it losses network with the latest  6.2.A.1.100 version. Not only Internet but calls. Signal strength is full but if I try to call it disconnects, and if someone else tries to call me it appears to them that my phone is turned off. This is a big problem because I use the phone for work. Here I found a lot about this problem but for older OS version and no one is experience the same problem with this version. For now I have selected GSM only option, it seems that it is working fine but I do want to use the fast network Slightly_smiling_Face My question is there anything I can do. Because it is annoying not knowing if my phone is up or down. Today I received sms for 6 missed calls Slightly_frowning_Face

I've searched in here but I haven't found a solution.

Well, i also had asked the sony agent, the only solution they gave me was that there are maybe a problem with the hardware, so they suggested me to examine it. also they didn't admit or do whatsoever about this bug anyway.

Well, the first thing to do would be to change the SIM card in the phone to see if it's in any way related to the card. If the problem persists even with other cards, try to repair the phone software via PC Companion.

I developed similar problem 2 weeks back with 'unfortunately core process stopped' even all other apps showed similar messages when tried to launch it was on ICS, called support couldn't help much as PC companion didn't show update as well, so did a factory reset, it started ok all process started working good but netwrok seems to develop little problem. After reading a bit got the 6.2.a.1.100 through Sony Update Service. Installed it but now the  phone is worse it loses network every now and then. It is a horrible experience of a rather pleasant phone by SONY. Let me know if you have some solutions.

I have the same problem, though I have my phone on GSM only mode. It's not a sim issue because the sim is less than a year old. I am losing calls, and I got to know this from some of my contacts only. And it is definitely after the latest update only.

I can't even remove the sim and check it however, please see my other thread about phone part support issue, which, for some reason, nobody is able to answer satisfactorily.

 I have the same problem.

i become unreachable but signal bar is full,i'm also not able to perform any call

I need to switch off/on my phone or enable/desable the airplane mode to fix this issue.
