Xperia neo V touch screen problem

Hay guys am using Xperia neo V, I bought i about 6 month back but from last 1 mont I have a issue with the touch sensitive

ie; 1)I need to swipe twice ot more time to unlock.

2) phone dialer takes time to get display,

3) Overall the scrolling inside any folder also getting stucks(mail, message, gallery and all)

Please help to recover from this, tomarrow am taking this to service center before that any updates you guys have means please inform.

I dont have screen protector. I buy my phone on april...

I think it's software bug, because phone dont responding only after unlock. Can't swype, unlock the screen or answer the phone. It's a very known bug of xperia phones... I must TAP 9 times to normal swyping...

today I've fixed my touchscreen by cleaning paste for LCD panels. Works very good...

Hi,

I have the same Problem on my Xperia Neo. I have to slide like 3 times until the phone unlocks. A couple of seconds after the phone is unlocked the touch input "stutters", but after a while everything is perfect.

I have a screen protector on my phone, but as the problem goes away some time after being unlocked it must be a hardware or software problem.

I wanted to make a software update, but I already have the latest gingerbread version and dont want to upgrade to ICS as I have heard the phone becomes very slow, and it is already slow enough.

What do you suggest?

Hi, I'm from Greece and i have the same problem when i try to unlock screen or answer my phone.I  have to try 4-5 times to do it.It seems like the touch sreen doesn't respon continiously at first, but after a few touches it becomes completely responding and everything is ok but only until the screen shuts off and then the problem apears again.I have the Neo for a year now but its only a week that i have this problem and it is very anoying.Is it hardware or shoftware? Upgrading to ICS didnt't solve anything. PLEASE SONY ANSWER! I understand that many others have the same problem too !

I bought the Neo V at the beginning of 2012.

After 3 months I had the same issue of touch insenstivity.

The touchscreen got replaced after 2 weeks that too after following up with a lot of people a number of times.

It's been 6 months and again the same issue reoccured even though the screen was replaced.

I submitted the phone on Sep 15th and more than 10 days has passed yet no progress.

Reason - parts has not reached yet.

I want to know from where the parts is coming and which medium (hopefully not the ship).

What kind of product is this giving problems to anumber of people and what about the service,is it not the  responsibility of Sony to repair the faulty devices.

Does Any moderator visiting the post would like to answer? Or we are left to suffer on our own.

I have found solution finally after 6 months...

I am using xperia neo v since Jan 2012. in past couple of month, i have touch issues, pattern unlock is not working. app opening slowly... like all you have registered here...

Today, I found an option in app menu "Google Settings"

When i opened that, i found "connected apps" option.

When i clicked, it shows a lot of conencted apps, which i never known to.

I removed one by one...

Only kept option of Facebook and messanger...

This is it...

All the touch issues are resolved.

Please try this and if you are succeded then spread the news...
