The other day I tried to view the meminfo by giving command on shell:

$ cat /proc/meminfo

Need Answer from SE people/moderator about why the RAM is 335 MB, which is so less than 512 MB (177 MB less), as claimed in the product specs?

Request you to please address this asap, otherwise it will definitely badly hit the Sony/ Sony Ericsson Brand credibility.

Neo v has more internal memory than arc :smileygrin:

420mb ..whereas arc as you show has 380mb Dizzy_Face

The command "cat /proc/meminfo" only shows available RAM, not actual physical RAM. Therefore you get these figures.

The main things that consumes RAM as default is graphics, kernel and Android OS.
