Xperia neo V can't turn on and also not charging. Please help!

My phone is around over a month as of today. Suddenly my phone malfunction for unknown issue. Here's my story, i using my xperia neo v last monday morning around 13:30AM (3/19) without any issues and then i decided to go to sleep around 11AM. I leave my phone power on after around 12PM i half wake and check my phone and i see that the 3G connection is "ON" so i turn it off since it will drain my battery fast. After that i went back to sleep and i woke up around 6PM same day. I check my phone and there's no power and im thinking maybe the battery is fully drain then i quickly charge my phone after i plug the charger in AC socket there's no orange light on my phone below the power button. Until today my phone still not working 3/22 but i notice that when i press and hold the power button the oreange light blinks for 1 to 3 time but no display showing on my screen. Please help my to revive my phone. Thanks in advance.

Remove the battery for a few minutes and then connect the charger. Use a wall socket (avoid USB charging). Wait for some more minutes and then reinsert the battery. Let the phone be for at least 30 minutes and then try to start it.

thank you for your advise. i will try this trick once i get home later and i hope it will work on my phone.

i actually thinking to bring my phone to sony ericsson authorized service center for check up. i will update you if the trick works on my phone.

hi all,

i've decided to bring my phone to sony ericsson service center to know the reason why my phone is not working properly. at first they told that they will try to reinstall the software but it was not successful since my phone is not detected by the computer. last they advise me that they will forward my phone to their main office to do diagnostic check and will informed me after 10 days. i'm still hoping that my phone will back to life since i really miss him so much.

also i did some research that in some cases that the cause of that issue is the emmc chip (internal memory) fried and never to remove the battery. there's alot of thread in xda-forum with this kind of issue. also some people says that sony ericsson did use cheap emmc chip. i will update you all once i have the latest info from the service center.

i am also having the same issue i just got my sony xperia neo v last april. its not over a month yet and the other day i was watching youtube on it when it suddenly went black. i tried to charge it but the led green light does not show up my charger is working. but its really not coming on! its so frstrating. is this a known issue with the neo v? anything i can do aside from the ones you ahve mentioned above? thanks

i had this same trouble phone wouldnt turn on and it wouldnt charge when plugged into sony charger or computer. checked voltage at battery when charging was reading 0.50v took battery out and checked battery voltage 0.00v so i gave the battery a quick burst using an old usb cable i cut the end off . putting the red to + and black wire to - and held it on for 5 seconds. insert battery in phone and instant charge. just required a burst 5th time ive done this

Hi i'm having a problem with my neo v. My fiance and I have been using the phone just fine for 2days since i got it as replacement phone but it suddenly turned off and won't turn on. When I turn it on, i feel it vibrate but no light no nothing happens? When I charge it, nothing happens and when i connect it to computer, it's not detected and doesn't charge? will battery bursting work, you think, on this? Will try the charging with no battery on trick and keep you updated. Please guys help me! I've started loving the phone already...

if the LED doesn't turn on when you connect it to a computer there isn't left to do but to take it to sony's service center

hi madapaka002, i read your problem as u mention. i am having the same problem. i wanted to know what happened at the service center. what ur the problem ? did the replace or repair ur phone ? very worried ! plz repky ASAP ! thank u !
