Xperia Neo Problem while Updating

Hello,

I have just updated my XPeria Neo to v4 software. Everything was looking good, it said update was complete. Then it asked me to remove my battery and power it on. I removed the wire and it showed me a warning that update failed and it stopped working.

It now shows a warning sign and a small phone below it and it keeps restarting.

What you will need to do is reinstall the software using either Sony Ericsson PC Companion or Sony Ericsson Update Service.

i have tried re connecting it to my computer, i have got the PC companion thing but it doesntick up the phone. i tried disconnecting it then put it back in it tried to connect but my phone shut down then it lost its connection???

Are you using the latest version of the PC Companion?

try Update Service instead

also if the problem persists then turn off your firewall/antivirus if the problem persists then restart your computer on safe mode then use Update Service

or on your phone

settings -> about phone -> software update
