xperia mirror screen (with z3 compact tablet)

I recently purchased a z3 compact tablet and was excited to try the screen mirroring function - which doesn't work. Was wondering if Sony intends to fix this soon.

Yes. I have. I also asked and got the same answer from the Sony store staff as well as other electronics stores - mirror screen for z3 tablet compact does not work with z1. works with z2 and above apparently.
so my question is more about going forward - especially since there haven't been any updates for the z1 in a while, why would you think the z1 would work with functions from the z3.

Well. It wouldn't be answer to your question. I've tried Z1 mirroring with Z2 Tablet and it worked. On the other hand had some trouble between Z3 Compact and Z2 Tablet.

Which versions of firmware are you using on both devices? I was on .108 on Z1 and 4.4.2 on Z2 Tablet back then. Doesn't have Z1 anymore to check on 4.4.4.

...sry just sent It..I meant to get it to display FULLSCREEN on the TV whilst connecting via throw or screen mirror
