xperia mini st15i update PC companion problem on software update

First updating my phone is shutting down

after that always like this i do this thing but always like that the step by step im doing that

its always like this can i want to update my xperia mini st15i always like that thing i do all things like that but nothing happens can you help me how to update system cannot update i have stock firmware or system software on phone can you help me out thanks

try Update Service

also try to turn off your firewall and antivirus

you can also restart your computer on safe mode (restart then press F8) then run PCC or Update Service

Just hold your volume down button for long enough... (3 ~ 5 minutes)

Not that it helps but I have exactly the same problem!!

My friend had a similar problem, and the reason was a deffective USB cable.

Check this out.

Anyway, I would recommend Sony Update Service (SUS) instead of PC Companion, because it uses a different, less error-prone method of updating the phone.
