Problem: Vibrates and reboots constantly with nothing but the backlight, doesn't connect to pc companion, doesn't enter fastboot with volume up from instructions on the sony page.

Have you tried performing a software repair on the device? This is done with the handset turned off and not connected at first.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps

Try the following:

Remove the battery for a few minutes and then put it back in > Charge your battery for 1 hr > Repair/re-install the phone with Sony Update Service.
