Xperia Mini Pro Android 2.1 Chinese Input

Mind to ask as i just upgraded to eclair and seem there is no more chinese input for my xperia mini pro.

go to Android Market Place, search for "pinyin" or  "Google Pinyin IME". Once you find it install it.

Downloading now. Wondering if SE can make android apps download on to pc then sync to hp as sometimes carrier is very slow at download content ^^. Thanks a million again for the help

Exq me , i wan to ask something for my fren , My fren using SonyEricsson Xperia Mini Pro (sk17i ) . juz todays morning, her use that chinese input pinyin , can't tap out the word? why ?? iz solfware?coz she also downlord form the market [ google pinyin ] also can't use ...... i hope can help her!!! thanks very much!!!

Hi, is your friend using the built-in Chinese keyboard? If it is, launch keyboard, tap the 3rd key from the right, bottom roll and select Chinese PinYin, then try again.

Hi , just tried your suggestion, but unfortunately still the same. In the end is how?
Whatever also need to say thanks for you . I hope can get more information to this problem ! Coz my fren also buy the phone form my working place no enough half years ,,,,,,,,

Have you (or your friend) looked at the tutorial and help functions of the Chinese keyboard?  To do so, press the symbol at the bottom that looks like a book, then Settings, then Tutorial or Help.  At least that is how to get it on the Chinese keyboard on my Arc...

Does not sound right?! A few things to check ....

Make sure she is using the built-in Chinese keyboard. Long press 'Write message' area, tap Input method>Chinese keyboard.

Make sure she sees 'CN' on 2nd key from the right, bottom roll of the keyboard.
