Xperia mini battery issue

Got my mini 2 months back, since then the xperience has been good, but off latethe battery is getting discharged pretty quickly. I'm on a 2G network, dont use phone for accesing the intrenet, dont even talk about 30 mins a day on the phone but the battery just discharges in 5-6 hours. Not sure what the issue is.

Any pointers to solve the issue would be of great help.

I suggest you contact your mobile phone provider to rectify, I am actually returning this phone tomorrow as I had to charge this twice yesterday.  So not impressed with this phone.

Mine is a mini pro but I get 7am - 10pm ish with a lot of usage from it, have you:

Tried turning your screen brightness down

Got an app closer like Task Panel or Advanced Task Killer to make sure all your prgrammes are closed properly not runnung in the background

Hi i downloaded this Helixlauncher and works great. I get 3 days out of my x10 mini,give it ago but you will have to click allow non market apps before downloading it.

The latest firmware 1.2.A.1.174 is much, much better for battery life.

If you are with the new android you can get battery flashers.They softwarely repair the phone.:smileywink:
