Xperia m4 aqua home screen bug

I have an Xperia M4 Aqua Dual (E2333).It was working fine until I toggled auto rotation on home screen and changed orientation which led to a black navigation bar which was earlier transparent on the home screen.But when viewing the home screen in landscape mode, the bar is fine with it's transparency.

Ok it was solved by changing the theme

Hi @Thi123,

Does the same thing happen while in safe mode? If so, try clearing data for the Xperia Home application under Settings > Apps > All > Xperia Home > Clear data, then restart your phone.

Sorry.It is still not solved.The transparency was available once I changed the theme.But it again became black after I applied an wallpaper.
Please help.I'm worried

Yes I cleared the data of xperia home.But it was of no use
I also tried booting into the safe mode but still it's the same

Did this reoccur when you applied your previous wallpaper? Does the same thing happen if you apply another wallpaper (say one of the preinstalled ones)?

You aren't by any chance using another launcher?

Yes.But iy doesn't happen when using pre-installed ones

In that case this points to the image that you select for your wallpaper. If it works when you select one of the preinstalled images there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your phone, but could instead be related to how the image is cropped when you select it as your wallpaper.
