Xperia M2 completely dead

Hi

First post here, my Xperia M2 shut itself down last night and has been unresponsive ever since. I have tried to update the software through PC companion and restarting via the side volume/power button as well as the small reset button.

My computer doesn't recognise the device when plugged in and when charging i don't get the usual light in the top corner.

Any advice or tips to try would be of great help

Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours.

If the phone still won't power on after uliwoolys suggestion, you could remove the SIM- and/or SD-card to see if the phone boots correctly. If not, I suggest that you try to perform a software repair using PC Companion to see if it can help.
