Xperia M Spelling check

Hello I am Jorge Diaz and I recently bought an Xperia M phone. It seems that in order to do spelling checks in different languages, when you write emails or text messages, you always have to change the phone´s language in settings. Is this the only way? I previously owned a Blackberry and while writing the mail you could do the change by pressing two keys, no need to go to settings and do the change there. Also the Xperia Z tablet automatically detects the language. Is there any way that the M model do the same.
