Xperia M encrypted on its own.

Last night i heard a ticking sound from my phone and saw that my phone was asking for password to decrypt storage! by i never encrypted it!!! i was shocked! i showed it to the local service centre and they said a basic software update would work for my phone  they said the total bill would be Rs. 171/-. I called there in the evening to ask whether my phone is ready or not and they said that yes i can come and collect it. after sometime we rcieved a call from their side telling us that they were unable to update the phone as they tried that multiple times and it disconnected or failed everytime, and the actual problem lies in the motherboard and it will cost Rs. 7500/- approx. I reached the centre and collected my phone after the payment of Rs. 114/-. I asked the respondent why they didn't informed me about this case of motherboard problem she said we told you. But they only told me about the software update and it is not that i missed what she said! i have obtained their services many times before and always make sure what they say! after some time i called them for the problem and they said it occurred because i repaired my phone from any unauthorised place before coming to them which was not true! I am totally stuck due to my phone and the behaviour at the service centre! I searched about this problem a lot and discovered that many other useres with same phone faced the same problem! I request you to take some action ASAP and we expect that you will do something for sure being such a big and reputed company. Thankyou.
