Hi Guys,
After using this device for few months.. I've Noticed something......The Display Starts continously flickering once the display is on and kept idle for sometimes. I took the device to Sony service centre twice and they changed the display each time but the issue not fixed and those guys not even able to detect the cause or able to fix it.. They simple said it may be a software issue or may be common with all Xperia M device and advised me to wait till the next FW update.
Later I discovered that the Display Flickering is observed when the option 'Automatically Adapt to Conditions' under the Display>Brightness Section. Hmm to some extent I can agree that the display brightness vary depending on the ambient light conditions but the Display is flickering like while you're inside a DJ club or a pub where you dont have a constant light.. that doesnt seem normal to me... is this a Software issue then?? because some day back my friend bought one Sony Xperia L - a brand new one and in that device too... I've noticed this...
Need some solution and advice...
Also pls Reply to this post if anybody else facing the same issue.
Thanks and Regards,
Charles
How exactly can anyone here be it an expert or an average user resolve your issue related to Hardware problem ? You already got the answer in your other topic with same title. Go to Sony Repair Center.

Hi Ruvy,
I did the same what you've mentioned but of no use... I took the phone twice to Service center and no fix yet. They say it may be a software issue. But I've noticed this in other Sony device as well. So just need to know if any one has any solution or if anyone facing the same issue.
Honestly, i never faced any such problem. What if you disable Automatic Brightness ?
If I disable, then its Normal.. the display wont flicker....

That is weirdly absurd. If you witnessed the same problem in other handsets too (read other Xperia models + other Xperia M handsets) then blame Sony's manufacturing unit and i dont think you can do anything in that case except learning to live with it. 😕
Yes, just now I've searched for the same issue and I've found similar posts.... one in XperiaM section and few in other devices sections...
