xperia lt15i can't upgrade software

Please help i am in South Africa i need to upgrade the software of my phone.

Current Version: 2.3.4

Model: LT15i

Build number: 4.0.2.A.0.62

Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-perf

Baseband version: 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028D-64

Can anyone help please guys.

If you haven't received the notification to update you only have one option, which is, to manually update your phone 

Check with PCC 

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

If you have tried Pc Companion and it says upto date then this is either a network issue in that they haven't authorised the release or a country restriction again in that the country won't authorise it - The only way around this would be to manually flash your device

Just remember that Android 4.0 ICS on this Xperias will slow down your phone quite a bit
