Xperia L WiFi Problem. Pls help!!!

Hi..

I recently updated phone to Andriod version 4.2.2 and with that phone is not connecting with WIFI.

On right upperside on phone, wifi highlighted but when I surf or run apps it reads "internet not available". Finally, I did reset phone and restored but again it is not working & wifi problem pertains. To add into the wounds now phone hangs up & gives all sort of problems.

With very update phone is BEING A VERY PAINFUL experience. Please show directive to solve problem.

Could you please elaborate a bit? Are you connected to a Wi-Fi network but get error message Internet not available or do you have problem to connect to a Wi-Fi network? 

What does it say under the network you are connected to under settings > Wi-Fi? 

Do you experience this when connected to other routers/networks?
