Xperia L unwanted vibration

My Xperia L sometimes vibrates for no reason. 

I keep my mobile phone on vibration mode most of the times, and sometimes it vibrates (just like it vibrates on a notification/messages), but when I unlock and see the phone, there is no notification or message.

Is anyone finding such an issue with the phone (any Xperia L)

Can someone guide me on how to turn off this unwanted vibration?

Sounds strange. Do you experience this kind of vibration if you start the phone in safe mode?
