Xperia L Power Button Dead

Ive got a problem with my phone since yesterday if i put my phone into a charger it shows the sony logo and after that is shows that my phone is charging but i cant turn on my phone on. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

1st thing I'd do is check the charger and USB cable to see if it's damages ie: Pin or fraid wire causing a slight short

It doesnt have anything to do with the wire because it shows that is fully charged. it has something to do with the power button, but i dont know what.

If you know what it is then contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/ but i doubt the power button would cause your phone to switch off when you connect it to a charger
