Xperia L display issue

This first happened when the screen was mainly all white. The screen showed multiple concentric ellipses with the smallest centre one as a very bright white with the next one of a lesser intensity and so on.

Then a couple of days back this happened on a screen with comparatively more text in black.

It may not be clearly visible on the monitor. Please try looking at the screen at an angle but it is very clear on my xperia l.

This has happened only on displays which involved white backgrounds. What may be the reason for this? Is there any need to be worried about display issues?

Screenshots from the phone will unfortunately not show problems with your display. Not sure i understand the problem you're describing but i recommend that you contact your dealer or a service location to have your phone checked if you suspect there's a problem with it.

Do you mean the concentric ellipses and the center is near the home button? If so, this is a normal effect on some setup sheets. Your screen is not defect - hope so. You can verify this, when you create a new note with a white background. There shouldn't be any ellipses.
