On my Z2 keyboard, next to the symbol 12!?    is a  smiley face symbol.  How  do I  restore this symbol  to the original KEYBOARD SETTING symbol ??   I  need  this  KEYBOARD SETTING  symbol  to personalizing  the KEYBAORD to  write  CHINESE characters.  ANY HELP  from  anyone  ???

I am not sure what you mean,have you tried to set the chinese as default?

Finally I  found out  what  to  do  which the manual  did  not  tell me.  To  set  the keyboard to  accept  both  CHINESE  and  ENGLISH  I have  to: 1) select SETTINGS,  2)   Language & Input , 3) Change  DEFAULT from ENGLISH keyboard to  CHINESE KEYBOARD, 4)  Below the default, CHECK  both  Xperia Chinese Keyboard  and  Xperia Keyboard ( International  keyboard ),  5)  click on the setting  symbol to the  right of  the  Xperia Chinese keyboard to  select personalization guide,  for  handwriting,   or,  stroke..   traditional Chinese or  simplified  Chinese...etc  etc.    At  the  end  exit  out..  When goes  to  the keyboard  mode, you may see the  CHINESE  KEYBOARD     . Then  use  your  finger to write  your  words. Hit   CN on the lower  right  will change  the KEYboard  to  an ENGLISH Keyboard . HIT  EN  on the lower  right  of  the  ENGLISH  keyboard  to  change  back to the CHINESE key board.  I hope  my explanation   will help  many Chinese users.
