Xperia JB Update Major Issue

My Sony Xperia S is unable to detect latest update of jelly bean. But my PC Companion is detecting it, and when i start updating the JB in Xperia S. Than a screen comes in section Perparing Cell Phone for Update "That screen shows that i have to unplug Xperia S from PC, shut it down, have to wait for 5 seconds after shut down and than plug the usb back in PC and holding the bottom Volume key i have to plug the micro usb into my Xperia S"

But doing this setup dosen't proceed and it comes back to the same screen again & again.

I am exhausted.. Please help someone.

Suggest you use Sony Update Service (SUS) instead.  Factory reset your phone before doing it and save datas if you do not want to lose anything.

When you follow these steps and connect the phone, does it remain off and give you a solid green notification light?

Hi, i am the same person who created this post from another account of mine.

Yes, you are right it remains OFF & give me solid green notification light only. And after five minutes that screen comes back in PC companion to repeat the process means pulling off usb cable and restarting phone, wait 5 seconds & plug in back.... Please help.
