Xperia J (UK Orange) stuck on ICS.

Hi,

My wife has a UK spec Orange (EE) Xperia J that is still on the original Ice Cream Sandwich that came with the phone.  When checking for an OTA update it states phone is up to date.  Lookinh online it says that a version of Jelly Bean is availble.

Can someone please confirm what her phone should be on?

And how do we update it when OTA says it's up to date?

As your phone is orange then it is upto orange to release the update for your phone however you can manually flash firmware see here for firmware and a how to is here - Ignore the title as it's the process you need to follow - The only thing different will be the firmware file but all tools ie: programs etc are the same
