xperia J display problem

Hi I brought Xperia J Jan 1 2013. at the time of puchsae i gaot an extended warranty for one year from a insurance company. last month the i had a problem with the display and monlie was never on from then. i visited the Sony service centr In vashi mumbai. They gave an estimate of around 8000 to relace the display. Howeve the present mobile cost in the market is aroun 11000 . The insurance compnay from where I got the extended warranty is asking for certification done from the authorise service centre to ascertain the kind of loss is not due to physical damage or liquid damage - as the same is not covered under extended warranty policy terms; and as the extended warranty is similar to manufacturers warranty - therefore would like to know if similar fault had occurred during the 1st year - will the brand give you free service in their warranty period for such fault The service centre people are verbally accepting that the mobile is neither physically damaged or liquid damaged and in the warranty period the same service would have been provided for free but not ready to provide the same in written. No where shoud I go to get this certification. It would be foolis to spend 8000 on a mobile which is availabe for 11000. So please guide me thank you

hi Alexander thank you for the reply, it was on July 19 2014 that i have submitted my device at  the local sony suthorised show room. Its been almost a month now and all these days I have in contact with the service centre, Sony Xperia support, and my third party insurance vendor throgh e mail, telephonically and in person. But none could solve the issue.

I dont understand why it takes weeks to gether for one statement which is verbally agreed.

Hope you will do some thing

I'm sorry to hear that. But as said above all service and warranty cases are handled locally. I advice that you take contact with your local Xperia support team again for further assistance.
