I AM NOT GETTING SOFTWARE UPDATE LINK ON MY XPERIA ION SINCE THE UPDATE IS RELEASED ON 2013. I HAVE FORMATED MY PHONE MANY TIMES IN ORDER TO GET UPDATE LINK ON MY PHONE BUT STILL DIDNT GET. KINDLY TELL ME HOW I WILL GET SOFTWARE UPDATE LINK ON MY PHONE OR TELL ME HOW CAN I UPDATE MY PHONE WITHOUT UPDATE LINK TO MY PHONE. MY IMEI NUMBER IS. KINDLY REPLY SOON

i m using xperia ion and i had used xperia arc, xperia s and these phones are jelly bean updated so mostly games dont work like gta vc pes2012 and so others but when arc was ice cream it was perfect

From what i can see, Android 4.0.4 is the latest version available for LT28at. For more information about software availability i recommend that you contact your local support team and AT&T.

The link you're looking at is for LT28h which have Android 4.1. The phone you have is LT28at which is a phone made specially for AT&T. See this page for the latest firmware for your phone: http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB419780#fbid=wUNw13KKoYD

I've also checked our internal systems and the information on www.att.com is correct, 6.1.C.1.111 (Android 4.0.4) is the latest version for LT28at.

ALTHOUGH MY PHONE IS AT & T BUT IN PHONE SETTINGS /ABOUT PHONE/ ITS MODEL NAME IS LT28H. THIS IS THE BIG CONFUSION. WHY THIS HAPPENS. MY PHONE'S BOX IS OF AT& T LT28AT, MY PHONE HAS AT & T WRITTEN AT THE TOP, IT HAS LTS8AT STICKER ON THE BACK BOTTOM FLIP OF TRAY. BUT LT28H IN SETTINGS /ABOUT PHONE/ ITS MODEL NAME

I've checked the IMEI you provided and your phone is an LT28at, not an LT28h.
But i also checked our logs and it seems that you or someone has tried to replace the software in the phone using 3:rd party tools. It doesn't have the correct software installed which is probably why it says LT28h in the phones software. I'm afraid i can't assist you with that.

but i purchase it in sealed box, whatever. how can i get correct software for lt28at

A service location may be able to install the correct software in your phone but i can't say for sure. It depens on the modifications that have been done to it using 3:rd party tools.

For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, please contact your local support team.

Please note that after the service location have installed the correct software in your phone it will be branded and perhaps even SIM locked to AT&T.
