Xperia ion Jelly Bean Update

I wanted to ask when are the Xperia ion users getting Jelly Bean update?

Sony is very lazy in providing updates... All other brands have Jelly Bean 4.2 in place and Xperia users are struggling to get Jelly Bean 4.1 update

You pay 35K for a phone and don't even get an OS update for it. Complete waste!!

Guys - here is how to get the official update incase it doesnt show up in PC companion or SUS. ALSO, IT FIXES THE BUGS WE NOTICED WITH THE GENERIC 211 FILE.

1. Update to JB 211 Update using this video as a guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5FyezJb45M

2. Restart phone and use normally for a few mins till it finishes all the patches / updates.

3. Connect phone to PC companion and then click on repair my phone.

REMEMBER THAT YOU WILL LOSE ALL DATA ON PHONE, BUT NOT MEMORY CARD

4. When it repairs, it will patch to the official 211 update.

I have done this and confirm it works here in India. Good and Have fun!

Saturday manually flashed & now repaired my phone through SUS. Everything works fine. Front Camera quality has improved rather than back

So after the long wait, i finally flashed my phone to JB. loving it! for those who are experiencing the lags n stuff, just repair it with pc companion.

Which driver do I select in Flashtool-drivers.exe, there is no xperia ion?.

I tried just selecting fastboot and flashmode drivers and it gets to reading device information and no further....
