Xperia Headphones Missing

I received my Xperia Z1 on Friday from O2

But Upon opening the box there were no headphones inside

Has anyone else had their headphones missing?

This is an O2 issue, they have been made aware and are offering either a credit for the value or headphones, or will either send the headphones to you, or if you have a store nearby then you can collect from there.

You will need to ring O2 first however free on 202 from your phone

Was told by O2 online support that the headphones were out of stock and thats why it wasn't in the box

But today I was told that the person who spoke to me made a mistake AND THAT THE EARPHONES ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE PHONE

Seems like I have to buy a headset

Buy it seems strange that Sony's flagship phone doesn't come with headphones

Was told by O2 yesterday that Sony has agreed to supply earphones for the Xepria Z1

As soon as O2 receives them from Sony they will ship them out

No word on which model they will be

Hope it won't be a cheap pair

Won't look good with an expensive phone

Ask o2 to refund you for the headphone as should be included with your phone. I have clarified this with sony and they agree with me. what o2 do is when they recieve the phones they open the box to put their own content inside the boxs to with they remove the headphones and sell it seperately I had a 2 day and 26 hour  3 mangers 23 advisors arugment with sony and in regards to this. 

i suggest you call o2 and ask for a refund with the headphones as they should of been included in the box.

The number has changed to 100 press option 2 then 0

Recently received my online purchase from Three..ie of my well researched Xperia Z1 Smartphone.

Extremely Disappointed to find no Headphones in the Box.

I have questioned Three Ireland about this only to get a conflicting and garbled set of responses.

I have been buying variuos equipment for a long time now and i can't think of a valid reason why a company of sony's

reputation would risk bad PR in an increasingly competitive smartphone market by appearing petty in not supplying a favoured

complimentary set of ear phones in a product that sells for around  seven hundred euros.
