Hi, my xperia was working fine untill a few weeks ago, it just refuses to charge even while the phone is turned on, when connecting the charger while the phone is powered off the red led blinks once for a split second and then nothing, vol up + power button does nothing either, at times if i open the phone, disconnect and reconnect the battery while the phone is plugged in it would charge. but once the cable is removed it would refuse to charge again. I have had the usb connector port replaced thinking it would resolve the issue, but no luck. Please help me resolve this issue without me having to pay for more pointless repairs, could a firmware update resolve this issue?
