I'm highly interested with Xperia Go especially since it's the "big brother" of my current phone, Xperia Active. However, past the dual core processor, I can't seem to wrap my head around as to why the screen resolution is a mere 320x480? (Same as my Active) Surely it should have been a lot bigger. What good is a dual-core processor if HD games won't support it for low resolution in the first place? Please enlighten me. Will there be an Xperia Go HD in the future that will cater to this?
Obviously we can't speak about products that haven't been released yet.
I'd say the focus of this device simply isn't gaming/HD viewing, and the Xperia acro S is the device that fills this gap.
This doesn't mean that we don't have gamer/outdoor enthusist consumers, but it may have been determined that the market is small, and again, filled by the Xperia acro S.
I had thought of that but what draws me closer to Xperia Go than acro S is the durability that it seems to portray. Apart from the overall build of the Go, the screen was the only downside that affects me. Oh, and also the lack of front facing camera but I can live with that.
