xperia go battery

yesterday morning i charged the battery fully - i think if it is not fully charged there is some kind of red light, and when it is fully charged it turns to green.

the battery symbol also showed a full green.

so after the full charge, i listened to like an hour or so of music.

and then again for another hour or so i listened to music.

before i went to sleep, the battery symbol showed atleast half full.

but in the morning it was totally empty.

i simply press the one button one small instant and the screen winks out. and the screen doesn't respond to touch unless i press the on button again.

this is not shutting the phone off - but a kind of semi sleep mode i think. and this is what i did before i went to sleep.

but i was surprised that it exhausted the battery during this sleep mode.

am i supposed to shut the phone down to preserve the battery charge?

appreciate the feedback.

Some service was probably running in the background of the phone causing the battery drain. I suggest that you fully charge your phone and use it as you normally do and when your down at 5-10% in battery take a screen shot of your battery stats and post it here.
