Hello,
This is my first post, thanks for letting me post to the forum.
I have a Sony Xperia E4G which was bought in July 2015 and until this morning was working fine without any problems. This morning I powered the phone up and this worked OK but at around 1pm when I checked the phone the screen was completely blank and nothing happened when I pressed the power button.
I have tried removing and replacing the SIM and have tried charging the phone (it was at about 49% power when switched on this morning). When charging I just get a fixed red light and still have a blank screen, pressing the power on button does nothing. I have tried to connect the phone to a PC but it just seems to constantly connect and then disconnect. The PC Companaion software doesn't detect a phone at all (and I have tried several different USB ports).
Does anyone know how I get the phone working again?
Many thanks,
Andrew
Thanks, will do.
I have the same problem. I can only start my phone again by pressing all the buttons together for about 10 sec ( I think that is rebooting). It just randomly freezes and it will not turn on again. Sometimes the Red light is on, too. It started very recently, one or two weeks ago.
It will not show charging percentage when you try to charge it, there is no display at all.
Could it be an update that caused this???
I have the same problem with my e4g, this is what i do, remove sim and memory card, hold your finger on the power button for at least 20-30 secs, this will perform a master reset, It's a software fault, sometimes the reset won't happen right away but it will work
