Think i need to point out how waterproofing mobiles is carried out, some ppl only know one way to waterproof things and think I'm **bleep**. The first way (the way they know) is the most expensive way, and the mobile will be compromised in its looks, performance and spec. They build it with a good solid alloy casing, one piece best, then they add circuits battery screen etc making sure that evfin sealed correctly and rubber plugs are fitted in to any external apertures, jacks n usb plugs etc etc The more favorable way phones are waterproofed is by applying a waterproof coating to all the standard components, ok so sounds iffy? Well, the waterproof coating is some proppa gucci bit of stuff, firstly it's baked onto all the components ensuring it will never rub or wash off, the way it works is by shrinking the surface area of the components so any water that comes into contact wiv it will try to shrink its surface area to match that resulting in the water forming bead droplets and will run like water of a ducks back..Advantsges are, cheaper materials, thinner, lighter in many pieces to ease fitting internals, which they can fit more things in summat same size as the other phone, like bigger speakers, battery, more circuitry sw hw, the screen can be bigger, wiv choice of materials thinner glass etc so you end up wiv lighter, bigger, brighter, faster smother louder gucci upto eyeballs. And you won't ruin your fone when it gets wet when Unbeknown to you you lost a rubber bung from one of the sockets. Hence i didn't pay attention to how my phone looked, i asked if it was waterproof.
