Xperia E WLAN problems

Hi there,

my Xperia E (Android 4.1) apparently has problems connecting to certain WLAN routers (such as AVM Fritzbox 7050 and Telekom Speedport 701W). Other routers appear to work.

It seems that this is a common problem. It also seems it's specific to Android 4.1, as the E Dual (Android 4.0) was able to conne

I'd like to know whether Sony confirms this to be a known issue that eventually will get fixed. (Otherwise, I'd rather return the phone and try a different brand).

Saw this just now. As you are aware, I am in the same boat.

same problem with fritzbox and speedport.

with android 4.0 everything was okay, after update 4.1. no wlan works.

sony? when you bring a new update whithout these bugs??
