Xperia calendar stops synchronizing from google when you remove google calendar - Android 4.3

On new Android 4.3 on Xperia SP, when you uninstall google calendar xperia calendar stops synchronizing google calendar. You have to keep 2 calendars for google synchronization to work properly which seems useless - getting two reminders from each calendar.

Issue is gone by doing a reset to default settings.
