xperia c not charging

please help me up! my xperia c not charging when my phone is open! but when i turned it of it will charge! why? please help me!

Hi Alucard,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This may be a slight glitch within the system, try clearing the Smart Connect application to help resolve this.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Smart Connect > Clear Data.

Now try using the device, if this does not work try booting the device in to Safemode.

1. Turn off handset

2. Turn handset on

3. When you see Xperia Sign, press and hold Volume down key until the handset is turned on completely.

To get out of Safemode simply restart the handset.

let me know if the handset shows charge when in this mode, only if the other options don't help.

i do all that bt nothings happen.please help me. i want to charge my phone in on unit. thanks

Hi, tried claring data in smart connect, inspite of that mobile is not charging.

Mobiles charges only when battery is completely drained out and only when phone is switched off.

Service centre was of no help.

Kindly help.

plz...plz help in this regard...i want to charge my xperia c,not charging when on,tried every source but nothing happened......i want to get rid of this problem.....this cellphone has disappointed me alot...i want u to prove your service and quality....so that we can make.believe...:(

Having the same problem with my xperia C.. Its charging when off but not at normal on state. nothing helped!!!

Hi I am also using Xperia C 2305. The same problem i am also facing. Whenever my mobile is switch on- its not charging and its not shwoing the powerup sympol. I went to sony service centre and i explained them in detailed. But without checking my mobile they just said  "mother board gone bad and it would cost around 5,000 INR".

After i insiting to sevaral times they checked my mobile ( They reset my mobile using backside pin hole) and its start to charge.

After one month again i am facing the same probem of not charging while switch on. i tried reset option but it didnt worked. And i saw sony forum and i tried to boot in safe mode. But led display shows android sleeping on his back side and there is triangle danger sympol which is  in red colo  and shows "No comment" I am affraid go to service centre because of my first incident because they are not checking the mobile properly and blindly trying to loot the money.

Can anyone helpme to solve this problem.
