Xperia Arc won't charge from wall socket

When connected to PC it charges without any problem, however, when pluged to the wall socket it doesn't work (it doesn't matter if it's on or off, it won't charge).

I happen to have another Xperia Arc (lucky me) so I know the problem is with my phone because the other one works (even using the same wall socket). This is not actually troublesome since I can charge using the PC but it's something weird I'd like to fix (or, at least, know why it happens)

have you try the obvious a different wall socket? and a different usb cable?

Yes, of course, I tried with the ones from the other phone I have (and I tried the other phone with mine, it worked too)

you could repair your phone with SUS to narrow down the issue

it's necessary?  I have a custom rom and if I'm not mistaken, I'll lose my data if I do that (and I've got the custom rom since past May or so, it shouldn't be the reason why it's not charging because the problem brand-2013-new :smileysilly:).

Anyway, if there's no other way/solution I'll do it.
