Xperia arc software update

I have tired to use the software 4.1.B.0.587, and now it is humble request that plz upload a new update for xperia arc, and now a days every one like to use jelly bean.

The Xperia Arc and other 2011 Xperias are not getting any more updates, if you wan Jelly Bean, check the XDA Forum for Custom ROMs

Arc S wont be getting any official update past ICS 4.0.4.

Im still running my Arc S on Gingerbread 2.3.4 as I found running ICS 4.0.4 far to slow as the hardware isnt really up to it.

I want to update my phone but the pc companion says "your phone already has the latest software" (Android version 2.3.4) when the website says 4.1.B.0.587 is avalible and its been like that for almost 2 years! i cant get some of the latest apps, i have contacted the xperia care and got no response.

As an Arc S owner & having ran Sony's ICS 4.0.4 on it all I can say is the hardware isnt really up to it.

Arc & Arc S are best left running on Gingerbread.

As for app's, i've found some that run perfectly fine on Gingerbread wont run on a Arc or Arc S running ICS.
