Xperia arc s sudden death

Hi. My arc s turned off last night. I was charging my phone then it turned off.So i left it charging but then i noticed that the light beside the usb port is not blinking. Anyone can help me how to fix this sudden death with my phone!thank you so much!

How about if you charge for 1 hour,remove the battery and put it back in,after that do not turn on your phone,just download SUS and repair:

thank you! ill try charging it for an hour and hope it wroks. i have a question though. i was able to download the link that you send however when i reach the page wherein you have to choose your phone unit/model arc S or even arc is not on the list.do you know if theres model that is compatible with my phone that i can use as an alternative.

You need to run SUS in compatibility mode with windows 7,it will show all models.

shoot!im using windows 8.maybe thats the reason why i cant find arc s. thanks! ill try to do it and i hope it works.

i was able to download the SUS in windows 7 but it cannot detect my phone, i reached the page where it says i have to connect the phone to the pc and press the back button i followed the instruction but still not working.what else should i do?

You need to connect the phone with volume down pressed,but do it only when it tells you.

it didnt tell me to press the volume down button. it says press and hold the back key once phone is connected with the pc. Will SUS works in windows vista too?or is it just in windows 7??

Sorry,you do have to press back key.It should work just fine in Vista.See this topic:
