Xperia Arc S screen keep going black

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me? My sony xperia arc s screen keeps going black, everytime I use my phone go on to the internet, call, use text or play game or anything then when I leave my phone it locks then I go back on my phone screen is black. I have to then take the battery out then switch my phone on after 5 or 10 min the phone comes back on others wise the phone screen is still back.

I tried factory restore still black screen duno why this is happing, can anyone tell me if the phone is faulty and might have to takd it down the shop to get fixed.

Download sony update service,repair the software:

Hi i have tired installing the update centre but cant find the xperia arc s on there, wolud it be in any other name?

You need to run SUS executable in compatibility mode with windows 7.

ive got the windows 8 wont it owrk on there?

You must run the program in compatibility mode with windows 7.Right click on the shortcut,properties,compatibility tab,tick run in compatibility mode and select windows 7.

Hi yeah i tired that last night, my phone still has black screen need to take it to the repair centre i guess. Thanks for your help though much appreciate.
