Xperia Arc not working

For my Xperia arc the vibrate doesnt work, expect when i end calls. Ive tried everything in the settings but nothing seems to work

take the battery out -> press and hold the power button -> put the battery back on -> turn it on

does it work now?

go to settings -> sound -> and check for vibrate

messaging (app) press -> menu -> settings -> vibrate

if it comes to worse you can try this

1) use this app

2) settings -> privacy -> settings reset (this will delete your passwords, so you'll have to readd all the accounts)

if you have a taskiller, antivirus or battery/juice defender, delete them, you do not need them.

sorry, forgot my account name, had to make a new one. i tried all those things, and still the only time it vibrates is when i end a call. This is really wierd and it doesnt make much sense
