Xperia Arc + MW 600 Bluetooth Headset

I bought the Sony Ericsson Arc and Sony Ericsson MW 600 Bluetooth Headset.

The MW 600 dosent show song title when using the music player.
The MW 600 dosent show Contact name when reciving a call.

Its to bad because the Arc and MW 600 headset is awesome. Very good sound qulity.
Is there a solution or a update?

There isn't a solution for this. It's a compatibility issue between Android devices and the headset.

There is no mention of a planned update at this time.

The Live View is a bluetooth device that can show all that information, so the Android device can send such info via bluetooth, sooo you have to do something about this annoying thing!

Hey SE,

please get the ID3 info issue resolved soon on your android devices including the arc. If the problem is linked to google/android you still should be able to sort this out yourself when customizing android for your phones.

I have a problem when use MW600 to talk to my friends. My friends cannot hear me clearly. Sometimes my voice id lost. I try another BT the same promblem still. Is it Arc problem? Hardware or software?

Same problem. I have a bluetooth Jabra BT2035. Especially when the other side makes noise (either speaks or is in a car) my speech is muted. When the other side speaks you can wait for him/her to stop talking, but when the other side is in the car, using a headset on the Arc is not possible. I've heard others with the same problem i.r.t. to the Arc. It worked with the same headset on other SE phones.

Hi I have the same problem just with the SE VH410 heasset

Also after a while it disconnects the microphone to the phoene .. but i can still heare the person i am talking ti in the headset ... found at way to cheat it back to normal ... switching to speaker (on the phone and back to the headset) but still annoing problem.

I use the Arc with an MW-600 and do not have this particular issue. i do have the lack of displayed data on the headset, however this is due to incompatible bluetooth profiles and is unlikely to change. In regards to the issue you are facing I would strongly advise running a repair via PC Companion.
