Xperia Arc frequently facing problems

Hi,

I am frequently facing below problems with Xperia Arc that i bought 3 months ago.

My SE Arc holds latest version of Anroid.

1) After connecting the call, volume level seems to be automatically dropped.

Either unable to hear the voice of the person at the other end , or he is unable to hear my voice clearly.

2) While dialing a call , some times it it looks like dumb and automatically call is ended without connecting.

   I see "Call Ended" messages.

Some time it says "Network Busy " , but i was able to connect to same number from land line without any problem.

3) while voice call is in progress , when i am moving from one place to other, either person at the other end was unable to hear my voice or i am unable to hear the voice at the other end.

It feels like both sides put the phone on mute.

4) wifi is frequently disconnecting . When i put the phone at a static place , it is frequently disconnecting.

5) Last but not the lease , recently i am observing battery is discharged even i am not using any of the applications.

Thanks

Sateesh

hmm first of all prices goes down Winking_Face

i also purchased for 27000 rupees.. and now it cost around 22000 in any shop ., obviously internet sites offers less money just because to attract customers..

so getting to the point..

which is your network operator..??

for first 3 points , try changing a sim card of another network operator..

4 : whats the frequency/..?? this is a bug , arc keeps dropping wifi conection but after 5-10 minutes..

5: how much battery is being discharged..its normal for the battery to drop 6-8 % overnight and yes without usage.. its normal..

At first, i would recommend that you try to change SIM-card in your phone, as the network issues seems to have something to do with you operator/carrier. If your calls still keeps getting disconnected, i would recommend a software update/repair using PC Companion (http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice). Regarding the volume issues, i would also recommend the update.

I have used the Arc for quite a long time myself, and never experienced any of the issues you are posting to unfortunately it seems like there is something wrong with your device.

HEY sbattu  this is so real about statement number 3 on your post!

Check my case:

Im a little scared on my new Xperia ARC, the issue started when i make or recieve phone calls , there was a crackling noise and the connection started to break up, i perfomed hard reset , tested several outgoing and incoming phone contact and it was the same thing.

The Service Provided replaced the SIM card but didnt make a difference, finally  got the cellphone replaced with a Brand-New sealed box one, and after couple of days it started doing the samething, i thougth that might  be a signal strenght issue. However i put an eye when the audio starts breaking the at that particular the ARC was showing all full bars :-S

Have any one heard about this????? please help me out!!!! im afraid this is a common issue that probably Sony Ericcson hasnt even notice base on the facts :-S i dont want to go for a different brand , im totally in love of the ARC the image quality is amazing please help me out!!!!!

sony told me to repair the software, i havent try it yet, how ever i work for sony and im a little electronic smart ,  it wont make any sense that they replaced my phone brand new that it suposed to be native software on it and its still having the same problem? it makes no sense at all however i will try to reinstall the software. i guess is a common defect cause it happens in several parts of the world , i guess you are in the US or somewhere el se , but im in El Salvador in central america.
