Xperia arc Buddy Runner Audio Feedback

I use the Buddy Runner App on my Xperia Arc and have it set up to give audio alerts after every 0.5 mile (apparently a lady should tell me how long i've taken, my pace etc). Whilst running i am listening to music and this is supposed to interrupt the music, give me the lowdown on my run  and then revert back to the music. I am not sure whether there is a phone setting i need to switch on but currently all that happens is every 0.5 mile the music stops and i hear no information nor does it revert back to the music. It's a bit frustrating and i can't seem to find anything to fix this.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same problem with Endomondo. But they were apparently working on it, so I think this might be something related to the app you're using. Check with the developer if there are any settings you can change for this or if its something that's going to be change in any update of the app.
