Hello Everyone !
I bought Xperia U almost one year ago but since then I was continuously getting errors and bugs. Sometime it gets too slow and close the applications by itself.even messages and phone calls.
This time, the situtation is much worse, from last 3 days my mobile was getting automatically turned off, and after that I have to wait for 1-2 hours, to start it. During 1-2 hours time, I continuously try to power up by pushing power button but screen never blows at all.
Kindly help me out and to be very frnak its a pathetic smart phone.
I suggest that you try to remove the SIM card and charge the phone a while without. Then try to start the phone again.
If the problem persists I suggest that you repair the phone software using PC Companion:
http://www.sonymobile.com/update
In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone"
Thank you for the help....
Yes, I have removed the sim and also done the repair as you mentioned but still the problem is the same....
Once mobile got off by itself, its really hard to turn it on and I have to wait for hours along with keep pressing power button....
I don't know what should I do !
Force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates). After that, connect the phone to wall charger.See if anything changes.
I did that just now, but still the same problem
.... set is still not booting up it almost seems to be dead but that has been happened many times.... but I know it will get start after sometime....
Please tell me how to install new software.... may be some software issue or so ?
Is your phone detected by your pc or laptop? Then repair phone software with sony update service or pc companion.
Yes, its most of the time detectable for my laptop and I have also updated the software and repair as well but not effect on my phone yet....
After several attempts from last 2 hours, my handset just got turned on but it will remain on for few minutes after that it again goes to dead state
I recommend taking the phone to a sony center for further investigation.
Yep... I am thinking the same as well..... 😕
