Hi I owned an XPeraia L last month,

I am getting a message as "Storage Space Running out"

Device memory is very low..

How can i move data?

You can delete data in:

Settings, apps, show "Downloaded", here you will have all the apps that you have downloaded, here you can also uninstall.

Thanks for your quick response. Still the problem is there. I will give you the detail.

(1) Xperia L having Device memory, Internal memory, SD card memory. When i checked in settings--> storage. device memory space is 1.57GB and Internal Storage is 4.01 GB. I didn't download anything new, all were already there in the device memory. Showing 1.5GB used and only 88MB free. Can't see option to view or move that much data in device memory. Ieven uninstalled whatsapp and not able to install back. showing "Insufficient Memory Available". atleast is there any option for viewing the data in device memory?( I dont understand why this phone have internal & device memory separately??)

(2)Most of the apps having uninstall updates or force stop option..no uninstall or move option..

(3)In order to view photos or videos in album..i need to go APPS--->ALBUM--->CLEAR DATA everyday...why is it so?

Hope myself clear in above..Please help me in this..

Facing the same problem, have to reset the device to factory settings in every 2-3days to free device memory, without much apps installed.

Please i request the Xperia team to look into this matter and fix this issue as soon as possible.

I have same problem with notification "storage space is running out". What I can do with that?? Xperia L have 1Gb right? But why I get that notification? Couse I just ope n 2 application at the same time. I try to reset factory, n just few install application.total 226 mb application I have install. But the notification"storage space is running out" is come up again.

I have installed 340MB of applications(phone is showing Apps:340mb out of total storage)

and the phone is showing just 159MB of Available device memory

Continously my phone is displaying the message as"Storage space is runnung out".

I've got the exact same problem with my Xperia L. Memory overview shows 1,57 GB total system memory, 418 MB used and 16.87 MB free. I have only the default apps installed, and made sure to clear all cache. I am unable to update or install any apps and must restore factory settings every week, which fixes the problem temporarily. 

The seperate storage space (4GB) is not affected by this problem, and RAM memory seems to function normally.
