X2 - sim not working, hardware problem, 20 days at sony centre, returned with the same problem

This is my last Sony ever! I usually buy a phone a year but for certain no more SONY. The repair centre didn't do anything, returned as it was. I don't have any time to waste, tomorrow I will buy Samsung or Htc. For sure I will write this everywhere. Bye bye.

No idea what the issue is as you didn't say - If it was returned in the same order then is it possible there was nothing wrong with it

If there's nothing wrong with the phone, then could it be sim itself? If this is the case, changing to another phone wouldn't help either.

it seems the antenna. I tried the sim with other phones and it works.

The phone might not support some network bands that the SIM uses. Check the box for which bands are supported. I had this problem once with an older xperia. My area coverage didn't have much bands and the ones available weren't supported.

EDIT: Did you try another SIM, from a different network provider?

Yes, I tried several sim and network bands and it doesn't work with any. I am from Switzerland and I use Swisscom.

fabmar,

did u buy your phone from Swisscom? If you did, then return to them to get it fixed/replaced. If not, then get back to whoever who sells you the phone. You might have gotten a phone with the wrong band for your country.

Thank you, but the phone has worked for around 10 days and then stopped. I am furious with Sony because it has no serious assistance/repair. They kept the phone for 20 days and returned with the same problem, not working. For this reason, never more SONY.
