X10i Mobistar

Hi,

I buyed in june a X10i phone at a Mobistar Center (Belgium) and i saw in the "secret paramètres" Brand: Mobistar. So it would say that the phone is simlocked but in my country its not legal, i tried to call with another company (Proximus) and its not blocked so i dont know why the name of Mobistar stay in Brand...

My problem is that i cant put the upgrade of june/juli in my phone it always say that ive got the latest or its not true ive got the first one xxxx14 (dont remember the right name) i called SE and they said that its because theres no upgrade for my phone... I search on the web some explications and i saw another guy who got the same problem but he didnt buyd his X10 in a Mobistar center like me, he buyed it in a store who's not linked with a company but his provider (for calls...) is Mobistar and next to Brand he got Mobistar too and he cant take the upgrade too (i sawed his post on this forum)... I sawed another guy on the web who buyed his X10 on internet and his provider is Mobistar too but he dont have Mobistar next to Brand, and he can do the upgrade :s.

Why not us? Mobistar and SE cant explain it to me and i dont like that i dont want to stay with a phone who got the first firmware!!!

For information i tried to do the upgrade with PCompanion, SEUS, and with the wifi of my phone and all said that i have thes latest firmware.....

I forget to say that people in my country who get Proximus can do the upgrade and when i called with a proximus card i tried after to do the upgrade with this card and i cant too....

Mobistar isdefinitly  the worst company in europe.

i wont ever buy a SE phone

(sorry but since februari we all know that Xperia x10 was supposed to be upgraded to 2.1

unfortunatlly x10i branded by mobistar will not get android 2.1,

HOW can SE let this situations happends, maybe they don"t care??)

Who can seriously says that he could had bought it if no upgrade shedulded???

I will recommend to all my knowledges not buy anything in a mobistar shop => Thank you to facebook

And no, i'm available at 100% (end of summer school) i plan to send letter to all consumers associations..

Fortunately for me there are many consumers' lobby in Brussels :smileygrin:

And do you think that if i ask Mobistar they will agree to give me back another X10i not branded?
