X10 Not charging

before, it works perfectly fine with main charge and usb charge.
and now it won't charge whatsoever no matter how i try.
i did the factory reset on my x10. still it wont charge.
btw when i turn off my x10 first, then connects it to the power.
it would turn on my phone like others but just wont charge.
is there anyone having this problem?????
please help me...........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:c onfused:

Same happened to me I bought a new battery and its worked perfectly since.

Yep i had the exact same problem. I got my phone last week, had it ONE DAY and then experienced the problem that you have. After scouring these forums and others i see its a common problem and basically its not a very well made phone. I have sent mine back for a refund there's no way im messing round with it trying to fix it only for it to no doubt happen again once the 28 day retrun period is up!! somebody mentioned holding down the 'back' button while connecting it to charge into your PC via the USB and keep it held in a for a few seconds, this offered a glimmer of hope but when i checked back later - nothing.. it had stopped charging again. So im afraid i'm not much help to you other than to say try and return it if you can. all ive heard about is bother with this phone.

forgive me for my bad english because iam from egypt,i tried every  thing to fix this problem in my sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro mobile and failed many times but now i found the solution and it is:

it is software errors so update your software by sony ericsson pc companion and if you have the latest software version already,update it also routinely all the errors and this error will be fixed.do it by connect your phone to computer after set up sony ericsson pc companion and do update your phone and follow the instructions exactly till end and before update do factory data reset on mobile by enter settings on mobile then privacy then factory data reset then after the factory data reset done,do the update as i mentioned above and all the errors and problems will be solved insha allah and your problem will be solved insha allah.do back up before this steps because all information on your mobile will be removed.

Hi, I've had the same problem  I returned the phone to Sony. After 4 weeks Sony phoned to tell me that  the USB port (charger connection) is held in place by resin and that the resin has cracked. They say this is not a manufacturing fault and so they won't repair the phone or replace it under guarantee either.

I'm now stuck with a dead phone which is still under contract. Given that Sony glue the USB port in with resin and it cracks is surely a manufacturing fault. I'm now in the process of reporting them to Trading Standards.

I have an experia Mini as well i had it for quit awhile now and it stoped chardging i thought it might be the batery as the batery is kinda useless it barely keeps a day i orderd a new batery over the internet as in my city no one sels battery nor fix phones as the megoraty of people has contract and easely replace their phones i have tride my chardger the charder of a nokia i tride other wires and im hopeless i wish some one can tell me what to do
